Life members are veterans with spinal cord injury or disease who are eligible to become members of MPVA. This is a great opportunity to meet other veterans with spinal cord injuries and get involved in improving the quality of life for veterans and others with disabilities.
There are two types of life members:
Service-Connected Members: Veterans who have suffered spinal cord injury or disease as a result of their service in the U.S. Armed Forces and received other than a dishonorable discharge.
Non-service Connected Members: Veterans who have suffered spinal cord injury or disease that is not the result of their service in the U.S. Armed Forces and received other than a dishonorable discharge.
Life membership is free to all qualified veterans. In addition to the other membership benefits, life members receive a free subscription to PN/Paraplegia News and are eligible to vote and serve on the chapter’s board of directors.
