The Michigan Paralyzed Veterans of America works with Associated Community Services of Southfield, Michigan, to seek financial support from Michiganders and to spread the word about our great programs!  We hope that you will consider contributing by telephone if contacted.  In addition, you can contribute to our services online by clicking here.  Michigan’s paralyzed and disabled veterans thank you!

Life Membership

Life members are veterans with spinal cord injury or disease who are eligible to become members of MPVA. This is a great opportunity to meet other veterans with spinal cord injuries and get involved in improving the quality of life for veterans and others with disabilities.

There are two types of life members:

Service-Connected Members:  Veterans who have suffered spinal cord injury or disease as a result of their service in the U.S. Armed Forces and received other than a dishonorable discharge.

Non-service Connected Members:  Veterans who have suffered spinal cord injury or disease that is not the result of their service in the U.S. Armed Forces and received other than a dishonorable discharge.

Life membership is free to all qualified veterans. In addition to the other membership benefits, life members receive a free subscription to PN/Paraplegia News and are eligible to vote and serve on the chapter’s board of directors.

Download the application for membership here.

If you have any questions about your eligibility as a life member, please call us at 1-800-638 MPVA (in Michigan), 248-476-9000 or e-mail our Director of Development & Public Relations, Jaclyn Kochis.
